From Stage to Systems
How a harpist found harmony in tech — and a new path in digital transformation.
Meet Salomé Pais Matos
Musician. Nature lover. Eternal learner.
Salomé Pais Matos is a harp teacher with degrees in Music and Physical Education. Over the years, she’s taught, led, and built a rich career—always driven by curiosity and a deep love for knowledge.
But beneath her poetic profession lived a quiet digital passion. She once taught herself to build her own website… and that spark eventually led her to Descodifica-te.
"If we don't limit ourselves with false beliefs about what we can do, we can go much further."

Student from Descodifica-te #3, 2025
The Challenge
Balancing music, teaching, and leadership left little room to explore tech tools—let alone master them.
But Salomé wasn’t chasing a total career pivot. She just wanted more fluency in digital tools. Something to expand her creative toolbox and support her work in the arts and education.
Her biggest hurdle? Time.
And self-pressure.
“There were weeks I thought I wouldn’t deliver in time,” she admits.
What helped her keep going?
If I go on stage alone to perform difficult music… why would this be hard?
Respect.
The Transformation
“I loved the discoveries each week,” Salomé says. “And feeling challenged to do what I thought I couldn't.”
She surprised even herself.
By the end of the program, she’d rebuilt her website, boosted her visibility, and started getting more work enquiries online.
But the biggest shift? Confidence.
She now sees herself not just as a harpist and educator—but as someone who can help others transform too.

What’s next for Salomé?
After completing the course, Salomé took part in the Freelancer Pro Challenge and officially launched her career as a digital transformation consultant for the education and cultural sectors.
Her focus? Helping educators and artists simplify their workflows, improve their digital presence, and free up more time for the work that matters.
It’s a natural evolution of everything she’s done so far — bringing creativity, structure, and empathy into the tech space.
