Dora has spent over two decades on the front lines of social change—working with refugee communities, coordinating child and youth protection projects, training professionals, and advocating for human rights.

She's playful by nature, but serious about purpose. A lifelong learner who believes in team spirit and collective growth.

In 2025, she felt it was time to evolve again—this time through tech.

The Challenge

Dora’s story radiates purpose, optimism, and lifelong learning. She bridges social transformation and digital transformation with warmth and conviction.

After more than two decades dedicated to human rights and social justice, Dora saw technology as a way to amplify her impact — not replace it.

Dora wasn't looking for a new career. She was looking to expand her toolkit, craving for something that would allow her to innovate and build financial security.

She joined Descodifica-te driven by curiosity and purpose.

I have always been interested in IT, so when the opportunity arose to learn how to create no-code solutions, I jumped at it.

But it wasn’t easy. Learning no-code was exciting—but building her first chatbot without a demo class? Risky.

The Transformation

Dora dove into the Descodifica-te program with the same drive she brings to social work: intention, empathy, and a love of learning.

She discovered tools like Airtable, BotPress and Softr.

She experimented. She asked questions. She even led the way.

Her proudest moment? Building “VITA”—a chatbot for Vitamimos, an educational food centre, helping the organisation communicate more efficiently.

Creating it without having the tool in the curriculum was a risk, but Dora approached it the way she approaches life: with research, persistence, and heart.

What she discovered reaffirmed what she’s always believed:

It reinforced that it’s never too late to discover new paths—and that we grow faster when we’re supported.

This was more than a tech project. It was a bridge between the social and digital worlds.

And it gave her a new title: Digital Transformation Consultant.

She launched her freelance career through the Freelancer Pro Challenge and now offers digital transformation services to third-sector organisations—simplifying processes and optimizing impact.

Her goal? Combine tech with humanity to build a fairer, smarter future.
