At 38, Mireli Cunha Pereira had already lived a full professional life—15 years in gastronomy, 8 of them teaching pastry and breadmaking. But deep down, she knew she wanted something else. Something calmer. Something that didn’t involve 12-hour shifts on her feet. She found it in tech—and a whole new version of herself.

The Challenge
“I chose my first career very young,” Mireli reflects. “And suddenly, 15 years had passed.”
The pandemic gave her a pause. Teaching from home made her realize: I like this life. She didn’t know how to enter tech, but she craved a profession that let her work remotely, live simply, and finally breathe.
That’s when she discovered no-code.
The Transformation
“I met tools I didn’t even know existed. And in 2-3 months, I was building websites.”
Mireli dove into the NoCode Institute program with a mix of curiosity and hope. From her first mission, she loved “putting her hand in the dough” again—only this time, it was digital.
She learned tools like Wix and WordPress. She launched real projects. She balanced classes, a full-time job, and life—all while rediscovering what she was capable of.
The biggest shift? Autonomy. She no longer feels like she has to wait for permission to create. She’s confident. Capable. And planning her next big move.
